My grandma Miller asked me in an e-mail about my trip to Peru and then Mom and Dad said I should post my reply and tell you all about my future trip!
Here is my e-mail:
Yep! I am going to Peru this sumer for choir! Today in class our travel agent came in so we could ask questions. Now you know I'm not quite an outdoors-y girl but I've been preppin myself for this- which it turns out that Peru won't be AS rural as I thought- but needless to say my friends still make fun of me for being high maintenance ("Brittany I was thinking who is the most high mantenance person in our choir? and you are!") but I just don't think they realize that I'll be ok; I just have to do LOTS of prep! and then I'll be fine... I think some of them think I'm sheltered or something because this is the first time I'll be leaving the country. I hope I haven't given them any bad ideas since I asked dumb questions. (they laughed at me when I asked if I was going to have to cross any wooden rope bridges...What?! We are climbing Machu Piccu!!!! You never know!!!!! I'm afraid of hights!!!!) But it's going to be a fun trip!!

My friends still make fun of me and I think my director thinks I'm weird (he made a comment about "learning all sorts of new things about Brittany" last class). We leave May 20th from Salt Lake (at 5:30 AM!) and get back the 31st. We fly to LA and then to PERU! It will be like 16 hours on a plane which I'm not worried about. I've been watching specials on the Travel Channel about Peru and trying to prep about what kind of food there will be and such. We will go to Lima, Arequipa, Cusco, and Machu Picchu!!! We will sing at a festival, at a University, and even at MASS!!! In a Spanish Catholic Cathedral!!!! Like for real church!! I am UBER excited!

- Brittany is currently in the music program at Idaho State University in Pocatello. She is also involved in her sorority Alpha Xi Delta, working, and doing all the demands that a music major requires. Ashley(Me) is studying Sociology in her freshman year at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. She is Visiting Teaching Leader in her ward, has joined a Dodge Ball team, and volunteers at the Elementary School. Kevin is a Junior at Mountain View and is of course running. Track has recently started and he works at Zurchers Leanne is playing club Volleyball and is frequently going to tournments and is in 8th grade at Lake Hazel Middle School Christina is in 3rd Grade at Christine Donnell and is currently taking swim lessons and playing around with no cares in the world :) As for Linda and Lee well I don't know much! From what I know Linda is still helping with Opera Idaho, continuing with the adoption, and doing all of the amazing things a job of a mother requires. As for Lee he is bring home the money working hard and serving in his calling as the 1st Counselor of the bishopric, and well keeping the house from burning down!
